Beads made from broken old skateboards :) I have also integrated some beautiful (and up-cycled) green sandlewood and some brass spacers.
The wooden skateboard beads are handmade, sanded and are finished with a waterproof, silk-gloss coat for durability.
I have integrated biodegradable stretchy rubber cord (which makes it easy to get them on and off). They are approximately 14 cms when unstretched.
I collaborated with a skate company who in turn work with skateparks and local community centres. Creating a new product out of waste boards. Collaborations that help promote sustainability, creating eco friendly partnerships that in turn support small business. What’s not to like?
