Beads made from broken old skateboards :) The skate beads are complimented by brown sandlewood and brass.
I collaborated with a skate company who in turn work with skateparks and local community centres. Creating a new product out of waste/broken boards. Collaborations that help promote sustainability, creating eco friendly partnerships that in turn support small business. What’s not to like?
I have hung them on biodegradable stretchy rubber cord (which makes it easy to get them on and off) and have added some brass spacers. They are approximately 17cms when unstretched.
